Depreciation means the amount we will deduct from the purchase price of your covered product(s) in the event that your covered product(s) cannot be repaired or replaced. We will calculate the depreciation by applying 5% to the purchase price per each quarter beginning on the start date as follows:

General exclusions

We will not pay for:

  • Any claim arising from an incident occurring outside the Protect4Less Plan period;
  • Accidental damage to your covered product(s) if you purchased a Protect4Less EW Plan;
  • Routine servicing, inspection, maintenance, dismantling or cleaning of your covered product
  • Any claim where you are unable to provide proof of purchase of your covered product.
  • Any claim where the serial number of your covered product(s) is tampered or changed.
  • Any incident that results in mechanical or electrical breakdown or accidental damage to your covered product(s) which is not reported to us within 15 days of discovery;
  • Any costs suffered by you as a result of not being able to use your covered product(s) or any costs other than the repair or replacement cost of your covered product.
  • Any claim arising from the confiscation, requisition or destruction of your covered product(s) by any government, public or legal authority;
  • Any costs where a mechanical or electrical breakdown cannot be found with your covered product;
  • Any mechanical or electrical breakdown or accidental damage caused by war, terrorism, invasion, revolution or any similar event;
  • Software malfunctions or other issues related to or caused by unauthorized software;
  • Any accessories that may be included or bundled with your covered product(s) including but not limited to batteries, headphones, chargers, charger cables, cases, covers and any other accessories; and
  • Any covered product(s) which has been used for commercial purposes.

How to report a claim

If you believe that your covered product(s) has suffered a mechanical or electrical breakdown or accidental damage:

  1. call us on 052 1240512; or
  2. log in to your protect4less.ae account; or
  3. or visit any outlet of the approved retailer;
